Amazon, Walmart and WalMart all announced Thursday they will buy several aircraft.
Amazon said it will buy the Arrow, a plane designed to take off and land from the water with no assistance from the ground.
The company plans to use the helicopter to help transport packages.
And Walmart said it is buying two helicopter planes to fly cargo from the company’s stores in the Middle East.
The helicopters will be used to transport products from the online retailer to the distribution centers where they are then sold.
Walmart is a pioneer in the drone business, but has struggled to find commercial customers.
