Sailboats, like aircraft, can be powered using wind power and the current in the atmosphere.
But this is only possible if they have a propeller.

It’s a type of propulsion that relies on the wind blowing into the propeller’s blades to produce thrust.
In theory, the propellers can be made of a material that can be broken down into smaller parts to produce energy.
These parts are then attached to a central motor that is then powered by electricity.
The idea is that these pieces can be assembled and used to produce a large amount of thrust.
The RTO is trying to build a prototype for this technology, called the Wavejet, that will have a maximum speed of 100kmph and be able to operate at a cruising speed of 50kmph.

The wavejet has a maximum cruise speed of 70kmph, a cruising range of 200km and a maximum power output of 20kW.
It can produce more than a tonne of thrust at speeds of up to 20kmph in the open ocean.

This is what allows them to move through the water at speeds up to 100kmh.
RTO will be using this technology to make a prototype of the WaveJet.
In the future, RTO hopes that the technology will be more practical than the propekel itself.
The technology will also be more energy-efficient, meaning that the cost of producing a wind turbine will be much lower.
In addition, the technology could be used in water because water is far less turbulent than air.
At the moment, RTE has no plans to build the Wave Jet.
It will be able use the technology, but it will take a while to make it work.
In 2020, the company is aiming to have the first wavejet system in operation.
