A few days ago, the man behind the wheel of a plane full of propellers appeared on “The View.”
The host, Joy Behar, asked Cruise what he thinks of the new movie, “Godfather II.”
Cruise responded by saying he was looking forward to seeing the film, “because I feel like I’ve played it.”
The conversation went on for a while, with Cruise saying, “I’m going to see it.”
However, when he finally showed up on the show, he had to stop filming the segment.
Cruise also talked about the new Star Wars movie, the “Star Wars” reboot, and why he thinks people are obsessed with robots.
He also said that he thinks that “Star Trek” fans have been waiting so long to see another installment.
Cruise told Behar that the new film “is a good movie, but it is not the Star Wars.”
“You see, they’re not gonna get rid of the Klingons.
They’re gonna keep them in there.
I don’t think it’s a good idea to have two worlds,” Cruise said.
“There are going to be Klingons, there’s going to have to be Romulans, there are going, there will be some kind of alien invasion, and the Klingonese are the bad guys.”
The new movie will be set in 2028, and is slated for a November 2019 release.
Cruise is playing former LAPD detective Frank Underwood in the film.
He is best known for his portrayal of George W. Bush on “CSI,” and is currently the president of “Celebrity Apprentice.”
The actor also appeared in the “X-Files” revival, as well as “The Wire.”
He is a frequent guest on “Good Morning America,” “CBS This Morning,” and “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert.”
